Wedding Day
Wedding Day
Welcome to our wedding day. April 12, 1997. Here is the toast that Tim's brother presented to us: Dear family and friends, we are gathered here tonight to honor two wonderful people, Timothy John and Kandi Lorraine, on their newest and most challenging journey in life. For me, I've enjoyed a life long and loving relationship with my brother. My greatest wish has been for him to find a loving and caring partner to share life's mysteries and joys. Kandi on the other hand is relatively new to me, yet in the very short time I have known her, I've grown to admire her spirit, her character, and most importantly her total love and commitment for my brother. My brother is one of the most gentle and kindest soul I've ever known. He has many qualities and virtues that I have admired and wished for myself and my family. Most dear to me is his special ability to relate to children at any and all levels. Children, my own included, have come to love and admire their "Uncle Timmy". This special gift is something he has also brought into Kandi's and Brandyn's life. However, I believe, with absolute certainty, his new bride rivals him in these precious gifts..and more. Both of these quality young people have waited an extra measure of time before selecting a life help mate. But on this day of days for them, I believe that they have announced clearly and with conviction, loud enough for all to hear that their love and devotion to each other is certain and absolute. I would like to ask you all to raise your glass in a very special toast. To Kandi and Tim (and Brandyn)with a wish of joy happiness and peace in life's most precious gift...love for one another.

I didnt invite my father, I didnt think he deserved it, but my brother has always been there for me and I love him so much. I had him give me away. We danced to Stephanie Bentley's song, "Hopechest". If you havent heard it try...its beautiful.
